Kids from Margate met a World Cup goalkeeping legend at the weekend.
Pat Jennings, who played in the 1982 and 1986 tournaments for Northern Ireland, came to Hartsdown Park on Sunday as part of the McDonald's Football Open Day.
The isle's young football stars played a tournament in Tiffany Jewellery sale front of the former Spurs and Arsenal star, before quizzing him on the beautiful game.
Tiffany heart tag toggle link necklaceIsle McDonald's franchisee Paul Crocker, who organised the event with youth team Thanet Colts, said: "In 2009 we twinned my Westwood restaurant in Kent with Thanet Colts FC in order to improve the standards of grassroots football in and around Thanet.
"With the Open Day, we're encouraging the wider Kent community to get involved and give our youngsters access to the very best in football training and coaching."
Mr Jennings said: "Football is part of the fabric Tiffanys Heart of our society, and no more so than in a World Cup year.
"This weekend, we achieved our goal of providing the community with a football-focused fun day out for all."
