Questions raised about new sup

My reactions to the computer picture of the new Tesco? (Chronicle, June 10).

It's 'groan' - that's not just my views, but may I just put out some of the questions raised from members of Transition Twerton? Okay. Most of the foliage out front has vanished. Will they still get to do a rooftop garden thing? The front gate of Saint Peter's Church has also vanished and there are no litter bins in the picture.

We question the wisdom of adding the new lay-by for the buses right on top of the crossroads.

It will mean more cars on the Lower Bristol Road, naturally, getting queued up Fake Chloe Handbags into the underground car park. Just like at the SouthGate Centre.

Are the new buildings to be carbon-neutral? Where is Hi-Q Tyres going to? We're not clear about where the bicycle facility is, can Jo McCarron still display her wonderful artwork on the restaurant's walls? Can I assume the solar panels have been scrapped? Wasn't this supposed to be a route for the personal pods? Why has the railing at the front of Allen Ford been removed? Where are the road signs? Will this be advertised as a development in East Twerton or Oldfield Park? Are any local companies to be involved in its construction? Where will the building materials be imported from? Does the underground walkway replace the existing pedestrian crossings? Will it avoid the Balenciaga Fake Handbags necessity of rerouting the sewer? Will it be steps only or have a disabled ramp as well? How about adding a couple of recycling banks to the complex? Will the Nestle products be delivered by road or rail? Will the restaurant be good or bad for business at Matty's? Will Tesco be stocking at least some items not currently available from other local shops? Does the complex still include a pharmacy? Who will be handling the staff recruitment? Having moved the bus stop, will the new one get a proper shelter and a bench? Don't panic, councillor Gazzard! I'm not really expecting any answers!
